Install & refresh the app

Sebenza runs in your browser, but it installs like a real app — faster, works offline, and opens from your home screen. The one thing to know: an installed app can hold on to an old version. Most "this button isn't there" reports are exactly that.

Install it on your phone

   Open the site

   Go to app.sebenzas.com in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone) and log in.

   Tap the banner

   At the top of the app you'll see Install Sebenza — Faster, works offline, runs like a real app. Tap Install.

   On iPhone, if there's no banner

   Tap the Share icon at the bottom of Safari, then Add to Home Screen.

   ✓ Sebenza is on your home screen. Open it from there from now on.

When Sebenza updates

Updates arrive on their own. When one lands you'll see a small message at the bottom of the screen:

Sebenza updated. Reload to get the latest. — tap Reload.

That's it. If you tap the ✕ instead, you keep using the old version until you next open the app.

Something looks wrong or missing?

Refresh first — before reporting it. Nine times out of ten this is the fix.

   On your phone (installed app)

   Close the app, then uninstall it and install it again from app.sebenzas.com (steps above). Your data is safe — it lives on the server, not on the phone.

   On a laptop

   Hold Ctrl + Shift and press R (on a Mac: Cmd + Shift + R).
